About the Process
The Outstanding Achievement Awards honour those shaping the future of construction in British Columbia. Through a thoughtful and rigorous review process led by an independent panel of industry leaders, recipients are selected for their exceptional leadership, innovation, and lasting impact.
Nomination Process begins May 1, 2026.

2026 Outstanding Achievement Awards Conditions

Eligibility
Nominees must be a member of VRCA or Life Member who are actively involved in the construction industry.

Eligibility Restriction
The Chair of the association is not eligible during the year in which she/he holds such position.

Award Presentation Contingent on Suitable Nominations
An Outstanding Achievement Award may not be presented in any year in which no suitable candidate has been nominated.

Nomination Evaluation and Finality of Decision
VRCA will review all submissions and use a point-based system to evaluate each nomination and to determine a winner in each category. The decision is final and not subject to appeal.

Ownership of Award Submission Materials
All submissions in support of a nominee for these awards become the property of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association.
All nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 and include:
- A description outlining why this individual or company is being nominated in this category. Please include data and examples that support the nomination
- Brief biography or company history
- Minimum two (2) reference letters with contact information
- Up to a 2-page resume highlighting their career
- Information on any awards of commendation the individual has received
And if available:
- Video or photos of the candidates work in the area of nomination
- Video or photos of the project in the area of nomination
One (1) winner in each category will be announced at the 2026 Awards of Excellence Gala on October 16, 2026.
